Beliefs
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable for belief and behavior. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
The Church
We believe Jesus established and is building his church, and it is necessary for followers of Jesus to come together regularly for fellowship, teaching, prayer, the celebration of communion and water baptism. (Hebrews 10:25, Matthew 16:18)
God
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists relationally in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Psalm 90:2)
Eternity
We believe that man’s eternal experience of either Life (Heaven) or Death (Hell) is determined by one’s response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 20:31)
Sin
We believe that our world is broken as a result of sin which has corrupted our relationship with God, one another and creation. (Romans 3:23)
The Second Coming
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised to reign forever in a new heaven and a new earth. (Revelation 22:12)
Jesus
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only One who can restore our relationship with God. He lived a sinless life as an example. He died on the cross in our place, and rose again victorious over sin and death. (John 1:1-3)
Marriage
We believe marriage was created and was sanctioned by God, joining one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union. (Genesis 2:24)
Salvation
We believe that in order to experience the life of Christ, receive forgiveness and the new birth, we must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9)
Spirit Beings
We believe God created spirit beings, some of whom are faithful to God and others who are in rebellion against God’s purposes which is a driving force of cosmic conflict and disunity. (Revelation 5:11; James 3:15)
The Holy Spirit
We believe that in order to fulfill God’s design for us each day, we need to be empowered by the Holy Spirit who gives us spiritual gifts and enables us to demonstrate his fruit in our lives. (John 14:16-17)
Water Baptism
Baptism symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus the Christ as your personal Savior. (Matthew 28:19-20; Colossians 2:12)
