Connecting with God
At Sisters Community Church, our first priority is to connect with God through Scripture. In the gospel, God has connected with man and He continues to connect with us through His Spirit and His Word. On Sunday mornings and throughout the week, we seek to know God deeply in His Word and love Him passionately.
Caring for people
Our connection with God at SCC equips us to care for one another. Our love for God’s Word is not just about doctrine, though His truth matters. We also seek to embody that doctrine with love for one another. Through small groups, we encourage one another to lead lives that are transformed by God’s Word and His presence in us. The way we love and care for one another demonstrates that we are His disciples and glorifies God.
Cultivating community
Along with caring for the people in our own body, the people of SCC seek to cultivate community throughout Sisters, Oregon. Jesus Christ calls us to go out into the world and be salt and light. Our hope and prayer is that God’s kingdom will come and His will be done in Sisters as it is in heaven. Our love for the community of Sisters is one way we proclaim God boldly.
