PRCCO Baby Bottle Drive
PRCCO’s Baby Bottle Fundraiser has begun! Your contribution (cash, checks, coins) will help support Pregnancy Resource Centers of Central
Oregon, a local non-profit ministry offering life-affirming alternatives to those facing unplanned pregnancy. All services are provided free and are confidential. Your donation will help support the ministry, so they can continue transforming lives and sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ. It’s easy: pick up a baby bottle at church on Mother’s Day, May 10, take it home and fill it with cash, checks, coins, and return it back here at SCC by Father’s Day, June 21.
For more information about PRCCO, please visit www.prcco.org.
By FAITH Ministry Launch
On Sunday, May 17th, you are invited to join us in the Fireside Room immediately following both services for the launch of a new SCC Ministry Initiative. By FAITH is a year long twice-monthly interactive gathering designed for those in the ‘4th Quarter’ of life. It is intended for anyone who desires deeper connections within the SCC community, an increased nearness to Christ, and a desire to more intentionally reflect His hope and help in coming alongside each other. Come hear Steve Stratos share our vision and encouragement for this meaningful new ministry and discover a place to be known, renewed, and inspired as we walk forward together by faith.
For questions, please contact Jim Horsley, 206-890-3008.
Prayer Boards, Boxes, and Binders
Praying without ceasing is made easier with a reminder. If you need prompts to remember to pray for your loved ones, those in need, or even for your own spiritual growth, a prayer board can help. Create a personalized prayer board, box, or binder at this fun event for women on May 30, 2-4 p.m., in Rooms #4 & 5. Bring your Bible, a journal, photos of people you are praying for, a box/board/binder, and decorative materials that you would like to use - we will have some items available. Women and children 8 years or older are invited to join. If you need childcare for children under 8, please be sure to indicate that on your registration and we will make arrangements.
Call Wendy at 541-389-6859 with questions.
Registration is required, and closes Friday, May 29. Click here to register online now.

Monthly gatherings are the first Friday of every month from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Fireside Room, beginning June 5.

National Day of Prayer
Join us Thursday, May 7 in the Prayer Room from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. as we gather under the theme Contending for Marriages, Church Leadership, and Our Youth. We will be praying for strength, healing, and unity in marriages, God’s direction and provision for church leadership, and for our youth to experience His grace and walk boldly in their faith.
The Prayer Room will be open all day—come for as little or as long as you are able. A sign-up sheet with hour-long slots will be available at the door. There is no pressure to pray out loud; simply being present matters. Where two or more are gathered, He is there—so let’s gather together.

Discover your S.H.A.P.E.
God didn’t design ministry for just a few with seminary degrees. Here at Sisters Community Church, we believe that every member of our church is a minister. This is what this training is all about. This course is designed to assist believers to discover their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, experiences). Further, this class will mobilize you into your place of service.
As followers of Christ, we are each uniquely created and equipped in advance for His work: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
Therefore… come and Discover your SHAPE… learn how God has uniquely molded you to minister to others for Him.
What is S.H.A.P.E.?
S = Spiritual Gifts – This will show how God has gifted you.
H= Your Heart – This will show you what you love to do.
A= Your Abilities – This helps you recognize your natural talents and skills.
P= Your Personality – This shows how you are inclined to act/react in ministry.
E= Your Experiences and Interests – This shows where you have a passion to serve in ministry.
The SHAPE class begins Sunday, February 22nd. We would like to encourage you to register now and mark your calendar for this 4-week class. Classes will be held in the Fireside Room from 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
