Join us Thursday, May 7 in the Prayer Room from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. as we gather under the theme Contending for Marriages, Church Leadership, and Our Youth. We will be praying for strength, healing, and unity in marriages, God’s direction and provision for church leadership, and for our youth to experience His grace and walk boldly in their faith.

The Prayer Room will be open all day—come for as little or as long as you are able. A sign-up sheet with hour-long slots will be available at the door. There is no pressure to pray out loud; simply being present matters. Where two or more are gathered, He is there—so let’s gather together.

Is it time to wash the winter grime off your car? Head to The Hangar after the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, May 3 for the annual Collide Car Wash. Students will be ready to wash all vehicles from about 11:15 a.m.- 1 p.m. Donations from the event will help middle school students raise money for their summer camp. Cash or checks are great. Sisters Community Church is hosting Liberty Quartet on Saturday, April 25, from 6-8 p.m. in the Worship Center. Liberty Quartet is a Gospel group based in the West with a full-time concert schedule. The members aim to provide a music ministry that impacts our culture for Christ. There are no admission fees, but a love offering will be taken in support of their ministry.

All in Sisters Country are invited to attend this concert, so this is a great opportunity for fellowship with family and friends in and outside of SCC.

The next Equipping Class, Proclaiming and Defending the Gospel, begins April 12, and runs on Sundays through May 3, from 10-11 a.m. in the Fireside Room. God didn’t design ministry for just a few with seminary degrees. Here at Sisters Community Church, we believe that every member of our church is a minister. This is what this training is all about. This course is designed to assist believers to discover their SHAPE (spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, experiences). Further, this class will mobilize you into your place of service.

As followers of Christ, we are each uniquely created and equipped in advance for His work: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Therefore… come and Discover your SHAPE… learn how God has uniquely molded you to minister to others for Him.

What is S.H.A.P.E.?

S = Spiritual Gifts – This will show how God has gifted you.

H= Your Heart – This will show you what you love to do.

A= Your Abilities – This helps you recognize your natural talents and skills.

P= Your Personality – This shows how you are inclined to act/react in ministry.

E= Your Experiences and Interests – This shows where you have a passion to serve in ministry.

High Schoolers are invited to enjoy a fun evening of ice skating and eating with Breathe on Sunday, December 14. All are invited for an SCC Family Brunch on Sunday, October 19, in the Worship Center, after the 10 a.m. service. The purpose is to enjoy a great brunch, meet new friends, and have our hearts stirred in celebration and gratitude for all God is doing in our midst. The Worship Center & the Fireside Room will be set up right after church to serve from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Please bring muffins, coffee cake, donuts, etc. (something that doesn't need to stay warm) to share. The Church will be providing the eggs, bacon, and sausage.
