GriefShare- Fall Session

The next session of GriefShare will begin on Thursday, September 12, and meets weekly from 2-4 p.m. at SCC in Room #5. GriefShare is a Christ-centered teaching focused  on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one.  The GriefShare program includes 13 weekly sessions comprised of a DVD seminar featuring nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories, followed by a group discussion about what was viewed. Participant workbooks provide structured daily devotions between weekly group meetings. Whether your bereavement experience is a recent one, or not so recent, you will find encouragement, comfort, and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family members, or friend. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and learn how to face your new normal and renew your hope for the future. More information and registration is available at this link.

Cost: $10. Scholarships are available
