Help Bring Mammography to Kenya, From Lori Blanchard

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I became a breast cancer statistic in mid 2023; and thankfully, I was one of the lucky ones to find it early with mammography. Many of you also know that I, along with my friend Gretchen House, have traveled to three places in Africa to help set up women's health programs with mammo equipment from the USA.

We have now partnered with Dr. Mark Sauerwein, my friend and a physician who is currently volunteering for 2 years at Litein Hospital in Kenya. This hospital is in desperate need of women's health services, and we are determined to help them. Please join our team in raising $44,000 to bring mammography to their community.

If you feel moved to help us in this project, we are using the non-profit, 5013c, "FRIENDS OF LITEIN"  who will be assisting us in collecting these funds for this mammo project.

Use the link below, which will take you to the FRIENDS OF LITEIN website. Select DONATE NOW with credit/debit, and please type in "MAMMO" in the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION field, or you can mail a check (address on the flier), and save the project 3% of what Visa charges for this transaction:

See the flier below to get additional details about Litein Hospital & breast cancer in Kenya.

We can't do this without you. Together we can make a difference. I will keep you updated on the project, which we hope to complete and be up and running by end of summer/fall, when Gretchen and I go there to help train them.
